Music
God has blessed us richly with the gifts of music and the arts. We have an opportunity through worship to offer these gifts back to God as praise through voice, instrument, dance, drama, and other arts. Talents are discovered, embraced, and cultivated here at Riverside UMC, both for the purpose of personal enrichment and more importantly, the purpose of becoming living testaments to God's grace and power. We embrace a wide variety of artistic styles and encourage both artistic and spiritual growth, as well as opportunities for Christian fellowship and friendship. The music and arts ministry at Riverside offers exciting opportunities for young and old. Some of the arts and music opportunities include:
Chancel Choir (leads 11 AM Traditional service)
Psalm 33 (leads 11 AM Contemporary service)
Cherub Choir (4K - 5K grade)
Carol Choir (1st - 2nd Grade)
Covenant Choir (3rd - 5th grade)
Carol Handbells (1st - 2nd Grade)
Covenant Handbells (3rd - 5th grade)
Drive Arts (6th-12th grade) -
RASMA-TAZ (Riverside After-School Music and Arts program) for K4 through 5th grades.
